PROBATE FEES: where we are acting for an executor, we usually charge an hourly rate which ranges on average from £2,000 to £10,000 depending upon the complexity.

Where we act as executor, we normally calculate our probate fees as a fixed percentage of the value of the estate in accordance with Law Society guidance.  This equates to less than 2% of the estate plus an hourly rate.

The cost of making a Will depends on the complexity required. Once we have the details of your requirements we will be able to provide an accurate quote.

On average a straight forward Will for a single person will cost £350  and mirror Wills for a couple will cost £550  for the two Wills.

In order to comply with the Money Laundering Provisions a charge of £15 is made to verify the identity of each client.
