PROBATE FEES:  Where we are act for executor we usually charge an hourly rate which ranges on average from  £2,000 to £10,000 depending upon the complexity.  Where we act as executor we normally calculate our probate fees as a fixed percentage of the value of the estate in accordance with Law Society Guidance. This  equates to less than 2% of the value of the estate plus an hourly rate.
